I have just got back from a week away with SWMBO and the 2 kids (3 and 7 months). First time we have been away for any significant time and it was brilliant - not much (enough) sailing, rubbish weather, great outings for the kids....

However, my wife, who is the best wife in the world, loved it so much that the boat will shortly be going on the market....

in order to trade up to a larger one!!!

Absolutely fantastic, looking to trade up to about 30/32ft (still to fit on a 10m mooring) and preferably with a 3 cabin layout so we don't have to up end the saloon every night.
It just doesn't get any better /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You might care to look at a Catalac 9m (Catamaran) - 3 separate cabins and superb for a young family

I just happen to have one for sail in the Portsmouth area!

Thanks for all your replies (and offers of boats for sale!) However, I will have to sell mine first - anyone interested?

My dear SWMBO, although a bit of a reluctant sailor, has always been the one who has wanted to upgrade and choosen the new boat! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Better a sun-crew than no crew at all....if you left her at home every time you went to the boat, then other "issues" would probably surface.

My sun-crew is currently scouring the pages of the YBW brokerage section for our next purchase!!!
