Best Harbor on Kefalonia to leave boat during the day

We're heading to Malta at the weekend and then......we don't know, plans are set in shifting sands!

I'm also heading to Malta. It's time to leave the lovely Med for me. It's got me down but this is my 6th year and there's a lot of areas in the world left. Maybe I will see you or Vic there. I should arrive around August 20th.

Pelaghia is full and the holding is poor , Argostoli is the best bet for a big cat like Palarran ,
quite safe and no big winds forecast for the coming week .

I'm going to head for Argostoli. Anchoring is always safer for me and if the weather is calm I can med moor to the quay.

Weather looks ok BUT if there any weather from the NE DONT stay on the quay , it can get very nasty there We seen yacht almost hanging over the wall with waves braking over them .

We left Argostoli a couple of nights back. Like Nornabiron says, it's fine once you are dug in. There was a lot of room for cats to side tie to also. We saw several do this while we were there as it did get blowy and a lot of folk were dragging. No one got hit but there were several close encounters. No idea about costs though.

The first night there were only two of us at anchor and was drama free.
