Hi,

I'm in the process of fitting a new windlass and the instructions say to grease the shaft first but they don't say what grease to use. I have some Ramonol and some Blake's Seacock Grease, would either of these be suitable ? If not then what should I use ?

Thanks,

Boo2

You want a grease with a decent load capacity. EP2 General purpose grease will probably be fine unless it states you need a specific variant. Shell Gadus should do the job and is easily available.

***I just checked Gruebb's website and they stare that for deck machinery to use Ramonol Advanced and not White.****
