Hello
2 problems with my passarelle from
Besenzoni.

1 The remote control is not working. I have changed battery and pressed the red button at the control box And then hold it against the infra red receiver. But it does not work. How can I test if receiver is broken or not?

2. Today the besenzoni stopped working. Nothing happens when I press the keys on the panel. I can only hear a click from the relay down in the engine room. The blue led lamp on the passarelle is lighting up when I press the keyboard so the power is on.
See movie of the relay clicking.

For the paserelle for move the motor comes on and then solenoids determine where the hydraulic fluid goes.

I have not had the controler open for some while but the motor will also be controlled by a relay given its current consumption.

I assume the motor is not running.

Put a meter on it. Does it have voltage ? If so motor is dead ( or brushes ) if not then there is either a power or relay issue. Trace it back / look in the manual. The motor can be tested by briefly applying voltage.

Thanks for You answer. Yes the motor is dead. I only hear the clicks.
I will check with a meter if I have power to the motor.
It clicks on all four button on the panel. (Raise or lower, in and out)
Can it be the solonoid? Or is it the relay if the motor have power.

Hi. Today I measured according to the picture. It was 14 V even before pushing the panel trying to move the passarell. I could not find a minus in the engine room so I could not measure on the motors plus and minus. Everything is very well covered.
But should it be 14 v even before pressing the buttons?

Yes. will see 14 volts there because the solenoid is not energised and contacts are open.
What I would do:-
Operate the passarrelle and check if its the solenoid that is clicking. If it is then you could then short out the 2 terminals (the big ones, and there could be a spark when you do) and see if the motor runs. If it does then likely the problem is the solenoid. If it doesn't run then could be the motor itself but very possible it can be a bad connection on the supply to the solenoid and motor. Check all connections including the 0 volts and the live to the system down there.

Hi.
I tested it. When i press the panel i hear the clicks. I have 4 buttons on the panel (up,down,in and out). The click sounds when i press all of the four buttons on the panel. But when i lay my finger on the solonoid i cant feel the click. But i hear it.
I also took a cable and short out the 2 big terminals. A spark as you told me, but i hear the the engine starts. But the hydralic did not start. And the passarelle did not moved.
Do you think its the sollonoid?

If the motor starts that is good news. When it's running press a button on the paserelle and it should move.

The buttons control hydraulic valves that say where the fluid goes and hence how it moves

Has the panel with the buttons ever gotten wet ? Have you had it off and checked behind for water ingress ?

On mine ( Pincraft ) one of the buttons powers up the solenoid and thus motor , thus hydraulic pressure .
The ones with arrows / symbols as J rudge says do the valves to direct the fluid in the rams .

You have to depress two , this gen power one and which ever valve one simultaneously.

You next need to power up that solinoid find how it’s powered to determine if it knackered.

You can get a short piece of wire and short the large right hand terminal to the top terminal (brown wire, red spade connection) will be a small spark,. This should energise the solenoid, you should hear/feel it click and the motor should run. If it does then the problem is back up the control wire (brown wire) that comes from the control panel. If the solenoid doesn't click in and the motor run then you have a knacked solenoid.

Hi
I testet it. When I press the panel, the passarelle worked and moved!! (at the same time shorten the two big terminals)
Shall I test to get a new solenoid?

Hi. I ordered a new solonoid and changed it. But unfortunately it’s the same problem. Still clicks and don’t move.
Any ideas?
