Beneteau Club / Assoc.

Hi there, great New Year to you all and thanks for all your answers to me in the past few months. Will take delivery in April of our brand new Antares 9.80 and I've been looking on the net for a Beneteau Owners Club. So far the only one I can find is a US based one that seems to be exclusively for sailboats.

Does anyone know of a uk/european club for Beneteau Powerboat owners?

BTW will be at the boat show on Thurs 6th so if anyone wants to say HI i've got one spare ticket for the launch of the new Antares 12!

Where will your new boat be based? We have a Series 9 in Brighton and there has been talk that the dealer there may set up some sort of owners group. Possibly arrange cruising in company type things. Not looked too hard for anything else though so not sure if there is a club as such. What is involved in the "launch" free booze from Beneteau? It will be interesting to see the "12" but I suspect the price is just too close to the 1380 and no where near the space.

Hi, boat will be in Brighton and I suspect we may have walked past your series 9 at some point. Dickies do seem to be doing some stuff to bring owners together so we'll check that out as well. Probs just shampoo or OJ at the launch. Agree with you about the 12 - looks to be a sports fishing boat style rather than cruiser, but still worth a look.

We took delivery of a new Series 9 a couple of years ago and can appreciate your excitement as you wait for your delivery.

With reference to a Beneteau club/association, there is a website: UK Beneteau Owners Association but postings seem to be mainly from the sailing fraternity.

I, too, would be interested in a site with more 'power' contributors!
