Hello, im new to the forum
Been to look at a 2007 beneteau antares 760 today fitted with the nanni 4390tdi? 200hp. I get mixed opinions, some people say stay away and stick with the volvos that come in the older models ,then other people swear by nannis.
Oil pressure was between 45psi-55psi, temperate was good.
Took the oil cap off when running just to see how much crank pressure it had and it seemed alot compared to engines im used to, like cummins/cats and perkins which run with hardly any. Is this normal for nannis to run like this and breath this much, as there an unknown engine to me. Engine has around 700 hours on it. Any information would be grateful as ive got to let the guy know tomorrow if I want it, also are there any other common issue to look out for?
Thanks
