Bembridge/Brading Haven

Having just completed my first Solent single handed weekend I thought that people might like to not that petrol and diesal are no longer available from Brading Haven durring the weekends - it nearly stuffed my plans! Thank god for sea breezes!

Thanks - yes it does, especially as it has taken me three years to get my boat on the water! I am planning many more sails now including a solent exploration week in the early autumn when things might get a bit quieter!

I hope you have a good year then. We had a "Solent fortnight" as a holiday a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it apart form the cold (it was May, in Bembridge). My tip would be that Yarmouth and most other harbours are most peaceful Monday-Thursday, even in August, so a holiday is far more enjoyable than a series of weekends.
