Rushie, could the RWYC accommodate us ref No's and Catering der reckon?

Near B&Bs.
Try Googling "B and B Garth Road Bangor". There are 3 or 4 next door to each other. Incredible value for money. At haul-out weekend, it cost me £35 for a Saturday night.

Correct David I had forgotten about those
The Garddfon have a very few rooms but they are not dear either
I must say the Breakfast in 'The Pink' is to die for, blimey I had one there a couple of Months ago, didn't need to eat for the rest of the day
Fuller than Full 'English' plus all the cereals and Toast and muffins and french thinghy bobs Coisants and juices and tee and coffees and nuts and friggen raisins and 'How many eggs der want and how many Rashers and beans and tomatos not from a tin and would you like more beans and I see you have tried our grapefruit and would you like 4 sausages' flippen eck!!

The Royal Welsh YC could host a meal & booze up, we have access to a couple of excellent chefs & who wouldn't enjoy a meal in a 700 year old barbican? Watch the original Golden gate Sunset at Porth yr Aur (the old Welsh name translates as "Golden gate") Excellent marina right next door, plenty to see & do in the area and plenty of free parking not too far away - also suitable for overnight camper parking too. Posh accommodation in the Royal Celtic, a Premier Inn (or similar) by the Marina, or plenty of reasonable B&B's in the town.

Plus one for kerfukin arvon black boy .only one in vales cum on boat ,how much would it be for coast to coast to take me boat to keeeernafon

I was just about to suggest that and I'm sure that Mark (dock master) at Victoria dock would sort a good rate for a few boats to visit for the night.

Now I'll need a bunk for the night........ Jaaaames !!!
Tom.

That sounds like a really good plan.

Tom you might need to wear a red wig then James would feel at home sharing a bunk with you!

I would offer our aft double berth but I even I find it difficult to turn over in it!

Rushie think RWYC do some live music so that could be an added distraction?

I could bring me Gob Iron or Paper and Comb but since I aint got me front teeth no more maybe a bad Idea
However I could organise an Eisteddfod, yer know with Cerdd Dant and Cor Mebion etc , I,m sure you would all like that
'Cerdd Dant' was 'Rappin before the Rappers even thought about it
It's Poetry combined with the Harp
Harpen on , I could ask Bryn , yer know the Terfyl lad he pops up here from time to time
Shirley is gettin on a bit, probably Rushies age and doesn't travel a lot now from Tiger Bay
Aled Jones is a Neighbour but who wants to hear about Snowmen in April?
I reckon a Harpist (cos most will be) is not a bad idea to give some 'Culture' to the Suferners
Trelawnydd Male Voice Choir are good
They could sing that well known Welsh ditty/ song which has a fishy nautical bent
'We'll Kipper welcome in the Hillsides, We'll Kipper a welcome in the Vales'!
;)

Easter probably isn't a good time - accommodation prices will be up, how about Sat 25th April? And about how many are likely to come? I will approach the RWYC for an approx. cost if I have an idea of numbers.

Tom, you can have the focs'l in Sea Rush if you don't mind slummin' it & can cope with the ladders & Fudgie.

just seeen ogary wandering around stoke saying now he has seen the NORTHERN LIGHTS how does he find is way sarf we sent him to the HS2 station and said a train will be along soon

Just an idea but the following weekend is May Bank Holiday.
Might be nice to extend the weekend and not have to rush back

Will there be parking for Mobey?

May
Xx

There will always be a place for the Mobey May
May it be in May or not May
Maybe a bit busy for Me though with boat trips etc.
I am sure with a bit of forward planning (to keep a boat spare to take peeps through the Swellies etc) cos there is enough time!
We can sort something out.
I think a 'Do' based around the Strait would be more interesting to those that have not been up ere, would be more interesting than Pwllheli
Anyway, dunno why I am typing this
It is seastoke what started it!
:p

There is a possibility at Port Dinorwic, we have stopped there for do's before & plan to this Chrimbo, so I reckon we could sort summat out & that's handy for the Gardffon & Kwaka's Kwickies. If we are at the Royal Welsh, there is a long stay car park right on the straits in Caernarfon that is often used by wilders for overnights that is only a couple of hundred yards from the clubhouse. Plenty of interesting places to visit around as well, Penmon Point is £2.50 for 24 hours, plus plenty of full facility campsites around too.

It cant be in stoke in may as the pier is being refirbed ,also the soup kitchen closes for the summer
