Beer and natter too be held in wales

Is there a deal on for Victoria Dock by any chance?

I have offered to help Steve out and will negotiate a group booking and discount with Mark the Dockmaster.

If you are thinking of joining a visiting flotilla please PM me with your Boat Name, Length & Draft and I will confirm price and availabilty.

Please ensure the contents of your fun boxes are fully replenished ready for a Kwacker's raid!

Steve and Beverley Bluenote II.

For info:
A flap gate which maintains a minimum depth of 2 metres in the dock.
Access is approximately 3 hours either side of High Water.
Visitors' pontoon with public access.
A listening watch is maintained on VHF Channel 80 whilst the dock is open.
The dock is ideally situated close to the town.
Operating hours are 0700 to 2300 during the summer and during daylight hours in the winter.
Dock Telephone/Fax Number: 01286 672346

It will need restocking after Rich's last visit:encouragement:
Yes I must admit, then again I did offer before I swept through the Fun Box
But the offer was refused so I did my 'worstest' was a good tastetest I think but I don't really remember!
I nominate 'Bigwow' as the 'Post Prandial' vessel, to Echo Mark's super effort after the Darn Sarf do in the Dog and Duck or Old Swan or Swan Inn or , feck I dunno, that place me an Rushie went a few weeks ago
I have some 'Warnicks Advoca' and some other 'Mixers' lying about and a bottle of something an Arab Mate gave me in 1951, he said it would Mature with age
Half a bottle of 'Mulled' wine , Oh! and some other Dregs-- Could make a nice 'Apre' meal Punch, wot u reckon folks as we Storm aboard bigwow, for Laters?
;)
Oh!
And as well as, I know where the Fun Box is located, that I do remember, Tee Hee!

Good Job its neap tides as the entrance to the Dock will look marginally bigger as Bigwow ferry glides in . High tide is about 4 o clock from my tables.

Bigwow only needs a wet hanky to float so any time the sill is open will do me:encouragement:

Thanks for this, Steve. I normally have to wait for Santa to deliver next years almanac. So LW HH is 10h00 ish. Looking like a pleasant day sail. Do you have a weather forecast yet? The crew would like max F4 on the beam, no rain.

What's the latest I can leave on Sunday morning, turn left and get over the bar without ploughing a furrow?

See you tomorrow!

All depends on your monster plough depth!
You would have about 2.25 metres of water over the Bar at low tide which is 11am Sunday.
Where the channel will be and whether it has been properly marked by then is another matter!

At the Mo its deeper but narrower than it was but by the end of April?? Dunno!!!
Probably have a recce anyway before then, however I would think CHT will have made their best effort to plonk the red n green things in an ish place to guide us
It's a heck of a place for shiftin about
I rarely take the pi** there even in the Ribbedy do dars
I reckon it's a potential danger more than the Swellies or Conwy Bar or Bardsey sound or Puffin sound
Sound advice is to hit it (not literally!) 2 hours before HW, if yer unfamiliar with it
;)
