Bayliner 275

Hi Ian,

I used to have one, Did they not change the name of the 2000 to 2005 model 265 to 275 becuase they launched a new 265 which was about a foot smaller beam so you could trailer it?

I was interested in the 275 but there was none available so I got a 285 instead which I am perfectly happy with

Just checked the website, if you mean the New 2006 model all they seems to have done is added a radar arch to the 2005 model.

I loved the boat and the size of the forward berth, with the table down, is far better than my 285 which i find the forward berth slightly cramped, but fine for the kids.

Are you thinking of swapping?

Aquatics just sold ny orginal 2000 265 but not sure how much for

Hi James
I was meaning the New 275 with the dinette and permanent forward berth and the optional must have radar arch. The older version I think was a similar layout to mine (could be wrong of course)
Yes I am considering a change for a new straight out the box 275.we dont want to lose our berth (Maximum 28'ish wich rules out the 285 cos its 29') We want a bit more cockpit room and a bit more room below with the dinette at the side this seems to work well. Also like the radar arch. Anyway this is it....

just had a thought on the 275 radr arch - how does the canopies work with an optional arch. On the 285 they fit on to the arch but does that mean on the 275 they will not or do they do different ones - just a thought

No my 265 2000 model had the same layout with the side dinette at the front. With this in place the front berth is probably quite small I cant remeber as we always had it down and there was plenty of room when like this.

They launched the model in 2000 and gave it the extra 1ft beam.

I loved this boat and would be tempted to buy another, the last one I looked at had a much nicer interior than my 2000 model, a bit more "wood" and blue work tops.

Is it the diesel they have on special offer at the moment which is tempting you?

Looking at the Bayliner site they fit to the arch, so I guess you have two different canopies depending if you have the arch.

I bet the arch is priced as an option but in reality they will all come with one.

I have corrected my spelling error!!!

We are talking quality boats here and hence not a Porta-Potti in sight!!!!

What diesel one on offer ?
Are you up this weekend cos its me birthday and I will let you buy me a drink /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I thought when I was up they had a Deisel with the KAD44, but thinking about it was a 2005 model and hence no arch, you could add it but then there would be the cost of new canopies aswell!!!
