Thinking of chartering one, 2015 model 1.95M draft. My wife does not like heeling and is fine on our old catamaran.
How tender is the Bav 37-I assume that sailed gently heeling can be minimised?

I have one. Nice boats, can be sailed sensibly without excessive heel. Very well thought-out accommodation. Lots of opening ports and hatches for ventilation in hot climates.

Edit: Great drop-down bathing platform too!

Thanks for re-assurances. It will probably seem like flying compared to my old and pedestrian cat!

Have sailed a copy quite a bit around the Eastern Canary Islands.

Bad bits. Shroud angle is a pain in the neck when going to and fro on the side deck. The main sheets arrangement takes patience to get used to. The single line reefing on the one I sail is full of friction. Also it has a bow thruster which is very useful as crosswind mooring is quite difficult, loadsa wind age.

Having said that, on the plus side, roomy, quick, fun yachts. Brill platform at the back. Great to helm.

Enjoy!
