I can confirm it is under the aft cabin bunk, had it fitted from new but there does seem to be ample space to fit. Not sure of the capacity, have had a look at the "paperwork" but not readily identifiable, supplies enough for general use and heats up very quickly.
Thanks for the reply. I assume you are referring to the area on the centreline of the boat immediately behind the engine/saildrive where the exhaust runs. Most of the space beneath the bunk is taken up by water tank, pump etc. I fear the depth of void on the 31 is not as deep as on the 34 and will not accomodate a calorifier. Probably have to locate in cockpit locker.
I was referring to a 31, the space is sufficient for the factory fit. If you are local to my boat you are welcome to have a look at the fitting and plumbing. I am on the south coast Solent area.
