I bought some new engine start batteries and came to fit them last weekend. Bought some new clamp on terminals from ASAP supplies as previous batteries had threaded studs as well as posts. On ASAP site it showed terminals for + and terminals for -. Only difference thinks I is the little + and - signs. Nope - the +ve and -ve battery posts are actually different diameters. The negative is @ 2mm smaller in diameter. Must be the new batteries thinks I so I go and check the old ones and they have different diameter connections too (same as new ones). So just ordered 4 -ve battery clamp on terminals. If anyone else is thinking of changing batteries might be worth checking before you start.

Always have been different sizes, its so you don't get them wrong way round.
