I seem to be going round in circles. I want to order on line a Sea Dog Battery State indicator; I can get to their site but they don't retail and, perhaps I am dim, but I can't find anyone who stocks them in the UK. Can someone recommend a good stockist? Tks.

I found the one you are talking about. A simple analogue voltmeter type battery condition meter with switching for two batteries. Not a fancy electronic gizzmo like the BM1.

I found a similar one that has an LED display from index marine see item C-2671 HERE

and this one

And These people say worldwide shipping. Its a pretty attractive price for the item you actually want

I use a digital multimeter £4.50 from Maplins. I cut off the 2 'probes' that it came with, and fitted a fag lighter plug.

I now just plug it into the fag lighter socket by the chart table and it works just as well as a custom made 'Battery State Indicator'......Plus it also gets used as intended as a multimeter when needed.

I fitted one of these voltage monitors from RS

You will need to put in your own switch

A bit late now I guess but the LED votmeter on This page connected using a two way, centre off, switch would do the job nicely. Found on a posting about the hours counter.
