I need some special cables made up for my bow thruster. They need to be 70mm with a 12v battery connector at one end and a crimped on tag at the other. I also need ' tag to tag' to go via the fuse.

Anyone know where I can get some made up? Boat is at Ipswich.

There's an auto parts shop in Woodbridge who would make them up. There may be one in Ipswich as well, but the one in Woodbridge is next to the best damn fish n chip shop I know.

Just a thought !

You may, or may not, desire the cables to be tinned. The Auto people are unlikely to stock tinned.

If you buy tinned cable from a chandler, please note the above.

A good source for all battery cables and terminals is http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/752
They do both flexible and semi flexible and all types of connectors.
I've used amalgamating tape to close the end of the cables to the terminals and this has so far lated 11 years and no corrosion of the cables at all. Also a small amount of silicone grease on the terminals themselves will stop corrosion on the battery terminals and fuse terminals as well.
