Ive got this Baron charging box on my boat, for which I have no instructions or information at all. Are they still in existance?
My problem is that
a) my batteries never struggle above 12.5v (new bats) dispite he fact that the voltage off the alternator is 14.5v.
b)Even the smallest use over night will flatten the batteries, which are 4 x 75ah 6volt units.
c)After running the engine for an hour or so the bats will read 12.6v but this will decay down to 12.3 within a few minutes of stopping, is this normal?
Reason I ask about the "Box" is that it has an LED on the side which does'nt ever light up and Im wondering if the box knackered and upsetting the whole charging system.
Any advice would be welcome, particularly as to what I can reasonably expect to see charge wise in my batteries.
Thanks Nick
