Barnard Marine. Where is it?

Does anyone know where Barnard Marine boat builders are? I am trying to trace the history of my Talisman 18 and I believe that Barnard Marine built them for a while.

The only mention I can find of the Talisman 18 dates back to the early 70s. Designed by CV Hughes and built in wood but later available in GRP from H C Banham Ltd of Cambridge. No mention of anyone called Barnard Marine. Hope that helps.
