Hello,

Am new to the forum for posting, but read quite a bit. I thought I would ask if anyone has experience of or has the pdf manual for an old Barient winch. Its a Barient 632.

We have just bought a new to us yacht that has two of these and I haven't got any experience of winches as big and would like to know how they come apart for servicing etc.

Have attached image, excuse general state but she is a bit of project cosmetically!

I have a manual for 2 types of old Barient winches. I will check them out tomorrow, copy them and somehow get them on here.

Is this any use? Hutton-Arco bought all tooling and can supply spares.

I can't see the model number you quote, but there are lots of similar ones here.

Thanks for the pointers guys, have looked at the linked websites - very helpful will get on to the servicing now!
