I could instead re-point the interior brickwork of the septic tank...
Or there's my very late annual accounts to prepare...
Build a scale trebuchet and lob dog turds into the garden of my irritating neighbour...
Close the curtains and put Tangerine Dream on perpetual replay, having stocked up on vast amounts of street-drugs...

A few days on Windermere since we are still short of a mast for Chiron.
Probably back home sooner than I would like due to "rain stopped play", plenty to do to earn brownie points to be used up later in the season.

I looked that boat up on t'internet; the furniture seems to have been arranged by a family of elders from the enclave of Sparkhill in Brum.

Actually, the owner is from Brum, but who cares? It has a BBQ, two jet ribs, three dining tables, four TV's so we can watch the Grand Prix, and most importantly a well stocked wine cellar.

It looks fabulous, apart from the furniture arranging. I love that style so much more than the Sunseeker stuff.
I'll probably be on the Solent now, with my Cobb oven, Avon 7 inflatable, eating off our laps and drinking plonk from the Waeco Ice Box. We certainly won't be watching cars driving in circles.

Hmm.
We were hoping to make for Cherbourg or St Vaast on Friday but it looks unlikely at the moment. So it will have to be out on Saturday and back on Monday which is a bit of a rush for a crew of two. If next week's forecast improves we might go and stay a bit longer but at the moment Monday looks like the only reliable day to get back.
Fall back plan is to sail round the island and pop into Titchfield Haven for lunch on Sunday.

... I suspect you might need slightly longer than just the weekend - even with the extra day.
Keep a close eye out for pirates a few weeks after you have left Gosport for the second time.
