Bang !!!Rattle rattle!!!!!!!

Halfway through my power boat level 2 the engine decided to make some seriously strange noises!! fortunately the wing nuts I welded to the head bolts the last time have made things easy, I can now remove cylinder head in 40 mins!!!!
time to replace the engine ??? A fine start to the holidays!!
Good news though ,a friend made his boat available so we could finish the course and me and my 14 yr old daughter are now holders of our level 2 power boat!!

So we have acheived something this year!!
back to the bilges for me

Haven't been able to get either of my sons - now 21 & 23 - to come out with me for the last 7 or 8 yrs. I must be a "Father from Hell" - shame really.
