A family we met have crossed the Atlantic and Pacific on their Nauticat. She'll be up for sale in a few months, if you don't mind traveling to NZ...

An ex poster on here hada Privilege Cat iirc. I believe he sailed it around the world.

Legendary parties and a cockpit glitterball aren't strictly required additions (see what I did there) but added to the fun no end and I do recall correctly some surprise hangovers..... :)

I think Nautitech are now part of Bavaria Yachts. Nothing wrong with that and don't know if they are built to similar stds.

If you can find a second hand Freebird 50 I would jump at the chance! Only about 10 built (there were more but open cockpit charter versions) but boy those things were superbly engineered and well built.
Pal of mine has on3 of these AIKANE 56-2010
56ft performance cat. Lightweight and fast. I weather routed him across the Atlantic both ways. St Martin to Azores. 12 days. They only built 4 in Trinidad at a cost of $2M US each. You get what you pay for. Its one of the very few cats I would really like to own. Space and performance.
