Do you need to insulate thousands of volts? How much leakage can you tolerate?
How heat resistant? 100degC or 1000?

What mechanical properties are required?
Does it have to look pretty?

Having chosen the material one can chose size & thickness
I have used them a lot in my workshop for things from bearings, to windows, patterns & small plastic parts I have machined.
Delivery is generally very good. One might find the odd ebay item cheaper but it is not worth the hassle.
