So you came on here trying to ruin a companies reputation because you were "Under the impression" BDM tried to rip you off when they had nothing to do with it. BDM came on here and gave an honest account of what happened, they didn't have too. I would keep my fingers crossed BDM accept your half harted apology and i would be second guessing your own peoples credibility in all of this.

For Pitys sake give the guy a break and cease banging on about something you have no first hand experience of

spouting forth here as fact while being one place removed and not having a grasp of the facts at all, merley 'understanding' you have - poor show and unfair on BDM.

How many places removed are you. I say again give the guy a break...... and as for a friendly forum I don't think so in this regard

I don't think he was trying to ruin anyone's reputation I think he was frustrated and wanted some action. It seems to me that the OP and BDM are now all sorted so I don't see how others banging on about apologies will make matters any better. Just let it settle. I have also learned that if you have a good company with good service no publicity is bad publicity. Case in point is I had never herd of BDM but have now looked them up and would use them if I so needed.

The op complains about passing the buck but it remains a mystery to me why he was even trying to contact BDM who had nothing to do with the sale. Surely the only people he should be annoyed with is the dealer?

Anyhow, perhaps it's time to draw this thread to an end. It would be great if the op made an unequivocal apology but I don't like any thread taking on a lynch mob stance. As it is BDM have come out of this rather better than the op.

So shall we just call the OP's post 'Fake News'?

He was purporting as fact something which patently was not and slighting an innocent party who I have to say was a model of restraint, so all power to them.

I would not call his OP particularly friendly, but lets leave it there.
