You dont "get it refurbished"; you do it yourself. About every 4-5 years.
You write to Blakes at the address given below, or ring them up, and ask for a set of the perishable parts (actually, the better chandlers sell these anyway) and a copy of the PBO article telling you how to do it, which Blakes will send to you, and an "Exploded View".
You don't need any special tools beyond a couple of screwdrivers, some BA spanners and a pipe wrench, but if you feel the need Blakes will sell you a set of the special tools.
Ours left their works in the early 1950's; it is still in good order.
One reason for doing it yourself is that you know your way around it should anything ever go wrong (which is extremely unlikely).
