Technical details for the B&G sensors can be found on the Airmar website cross reference section http://www.airmartechnology.com/marine-product-search.asp?q=b+&+G and NASA has its own website stating that the depth functions at 150khz http://www.nasamarine.com/proddetail.php?prod=05_150Khz_Depth.

It seems unlikely that you can retain much.

What's the problem with your B&G instruments?

Thank you.

Yes, all beginning to make sense. I do like the focus but the internal lighting has failed so its not readable at night, had a friend strip it down but no luck. Have also had some spurious log readings. Have got a search logged on ebay but nothing has come up.

Boat is due out of the water in April so I will change it then when I can also do the transducers.. do we no if the log impeller tube has a "flap"?

The B&G website has information about their systems http://www.bandg.com/Downloads/Manuals/ and manuals for the Focus system.

Sensor identification was available on the B&G site and perhaps still is somewhere but is also available here http://www.myleselectronics.com/Documents/Product Identification Guide v2.01.pdf an American company Myles Electronics with a good website.

John Holmes I found very helpful for B&G equipment and he may be able to find what you need.http://www.ybw.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-38018.html.
