All sounds a jolly jape (MBY Oct 2002). But surely you can't book a B&B in advance (due to uncertain weather) and if you leave booking to the last minute then everwhere's full. Is this the case?
I done it earlier in the year. Its alright if you don't do it in high season. Some places will need to be booked, but if you explain what your doing, most are ok. It takes quiet a bit of homework getting all the numbers of the places. In the more popular areas get numbers of two or three. You might have to "slum" it now and then. Its a good way to widen your cruising area. I've only got a 2 berth boat but there is four of us. A good guide is the Good B&B guide, or summink like that. Give it a go, you'll never know where you end up!
OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!
