Awgrip suppliers

Hi,

The only place I can find for Awlgrip is boatpaint.co.uk.
Has anybody got pointers to others.? (cheaper)

Awlgrip is eyewateringly expensive whoever supplies it. If it's just for touching up you can get Epifanes 2 part Polyurethane, completely compatible, tinted to exact Awlgrip colours for rather less than the cost of actual Awlgrip (minimum quantity supplied is 1 quart US which is about a litre and a half).

but....I have my heart set on Awlgrip Flag Blue.
Compared to what I have spent already, this is a drop in the ocean.

Whatever. My point was about the exorbitant cost of this paint if you are only looking for enough to touch up scratches and scrapes. A quart of awlgrip with the convertor and reducer added goes a very long way.

Hi Howard - Speak to Dean Fuller at Marineware - Im sure he can help you out. Good for advice too. 02380330208. Was as committed as you on Awlgrip till the price hit home and went for Epifanes 2 pack in the end, very pleased with result and half price

It seems Marineware are the importer.
They are quoting the same price as boatpaint.co.uk though.
Yes, they were helpful, even reduced my quantities, maybe I'll bite the bullet then.
