Avtex 12V LCD TV`s

I have one of the 10" wide screen combis, does pretty much everything, sd cards, dvd, Freeview and normal tv.

Bit on the expensive side but it fitted where I wanted it to go in limited space.

Nice bit of kit just needs to be a little cheaper

Sharp used to do a realy nice 13" TV which is good for carrying about and putting up in the cockpit, not sure wether they still do it tho

Hi Take 5

The aspect of the Akura sets that really did surprise me was their ability to pick up perfect Freeview both at Shamrock Quay and on the river near Bucklers Hard, perfect reception and all channels available. I have a Glomex aerial with amplifier.

The first reason I chose them is that they are not much bigger than the actual screen size, so easy to fit in limited space, always an issue on a boat, secondly they are very light and easy to mount on brackets.

Hope this helps.

I bought a 15" 7 in 1 version last year. Takes all input media and the quality is very good . I have a Glomex aerial and booster which seem to be essential (esp in Dover). Quite expensive but worth it IMHO. Look at prices carefully as some companies advertise a low price but when checking you may find it is only a 5 in 1 or 6 in 1 model!
