For those interested; the correspondence, pictures, evidence etc. behind these issues is now available on a website. Publishing details here would almost certainly get the thread pulled again so PM me for the URL. Some of it’s almost quite entertaining.
Hopefully all anonymised but if you spot anything identifiable which should have been removed please let me know by PM and I’ll fix immediately.
For those who do not want to read the full details, that’s fine but please do not post disparaging remarks without understanding the full story.

I have seen the website. Oh dear oh dear. You are sadly deluded. The letter of intent of expulsion is actually quite specific. They would have the relevent emails printed out as evidence, but of course if you don't turn up you won't see them and deny they exist.

It's a publicly accessible website, easily found with a quick Google, so I can't see why the address is a closely-guarded secret. I haven't bothered to see if it's libellous - that's the owner's responsibility. If you are particularly interested you can also identify the domain owner, NickC, by going to http://whois.domaintools.com/associateddata.co.uk

Actually Floyd, no you haven't. You have not PM'd me for the URL so you have clearly not seen the current website of evidence.
If you were a member of the Committee or a member of the Club you would have seen a very old version of the website which was originally created for members only and is much less comprehensive. This had also leaked onto google somehow but is now moved.
So you disagree with the RYA guidlines then? Which state:

You attracted quite a bit of sympathy when you first posted about the oversize engine but i think most of the sympathy has now evaporated.
I note that the oversize Yamaha appears to have been replaced by a smaller Mariner and a generously proportioned lady.

If the club officials did a u turn and readmitted you it seems unlikely you would ever enjoy being there now .

If NickC is getting some enjoyment out of his pursuit of the Committee I think he should carry on with his campaign to bring them to heel. It's can be very theraputic to have a cause to fight for. Whether or not any other forumites wish to "participate" is up to them, although I'm suspicious about new members who come on here and only post on this thread! :encouragement:
If NickC is not enjoying the battle then I would suggest that he packs it in as "the game is not worth the candle" (whatever that means!)

I want to end this thread because if and when you except reality you will be very depressed indeed.
I don't think I'm a plant by the committee but you can never be sure these days. It's a long way from Leicestershire to any kind of salt water which is why we got out our picks and shovels and dug out our own sea - Rutland Water.
I'm replying as you left a question mark at the end of a sentence with "RYA guidelines" in it. Oops. GUIDELINES??? You've been banging on about RULES not guidelines. Someone PM Nick on the difference please.
So you have removed the website. Just another example of the way have consistently manipulated the communications and interpretation of facts to suit your own agenda. As such, I refer to your own post No.40 in which there is a letter to you from a committee member (I presume). Remove it if you wish; I've copied it (that's sad I know but it's just in case you deny/hide/manipulate the facts again). The letter is very clearly written, copied to others for legal reasons and includes the fact that the committee have taken legal advice from the RYA before contacting you. All we get from you is that they have done things wrong.
25 years is a long time in a club. Over the years you must seen loads of changes, and clearly not agreed with most of them, and exercised your right to voice your opinions. No law against that. The committee must have changed a lot over that time. As you have served on it(?) and been a long time member you must feel the club owes you something. The committee members who are clearly the only people in the club willing to take on the roles, feel the club owes them too. As such, they will be personally offended by anyone offering persistent and in their eyes, unfounded criticism. Still no laws broken. You seem to have been given a job to do within the club, something like Grand Keeper of the Chain, probably with a peaked cap as the uniform. But as you made yourself so unpopular with said committee members, or you were just a rubbish Grand Keeper of the Chain, they took the peaked cap and handed it to one of their own. No law against that. No really Nick, there isn't.
Oh but just a minute, I'm not sure if you were actually the Grand Keeper of the Chain or if you were just pretending in a phone call. It's very confusing but I wonder if I am close to the true motivation behind this issue?
On top of that, people with nothing to gain or lose will feed you titbits of duff info just to wind you up. Things which because of your negativity you are only too happy to take in.
I won't use the names but this could be the plot of my next unsuccessfull book to follow the poor sales of "Raser Drivers". I think I could make it funny but how to make it interesting....

However I would join those who are saying ' move on now ' - thing is do you realise you have achieved your objective, you have shown very publicly what that club and committee are like and I doubt many or any here would even consider touching it /them with a disinfected bargepole.
Now go sailing, nothing to prevent you showering them with spray as you go past having fun while they sit in their personally corrosive little world, before you let it corrode you from the inside too.

Would you please remove the club name from your post #308.
If you remember the forerunner to this thread (the outboard engine one) was pulled because the committee complained that the club had been identified by forumites in various posts. Hence my request to you to remove your direct reference to the club name.
