The terrible news unfording which is at the moment records 22k deaths and dear knows how many more to yet be confirmed, shows us all the unpredictability of the enviroment which we all enjoy so much. My thoughts today reach out to all those effected.

All thoughts are with those people who have lost someone and particularly the locals who can't jump on a plane to leave it behind. The 'global warmers' will indeed be out when it is decent to do so but what has an earthquake under the sea got to do with it? They won't acknowledge that will they. Crete was washed away in exactly the same way 3,000 years ago albeit because of Santorini exploding and creating a tidal wave. It is called the foces of nature and goes on with or without man.
