Good evening

Just before Christmas was browsing in W.H.Smiths and noticed a December magazine with an article "around the world in a 20ft motor cruiser" or something like that, never got round to buying mag, now January issues out. Anyone advise which mag this was.

Thanks

Brian

Re: RTW in a 22 footer

Ah yes, i have the article infront of me. The motorcruiser inquestion was hoike ashore and kept in a steel container. One mornig, as the guy was fiddling about with some selftapping screws, the doors slammed shut and he was craned on to a container ship. Months later, after having tapped and banged on the walls gfor weeks on end and survived on the water ration provided by his boat plus a large tin of shortbread biscuits all groped for in pitch darkness, he eventally arrived back in the UK. A real adventure, i reckon...

Just popped into New Zealand enroute. Will post rest of details once I'm back in the UK. Should only take a week or four, though towing the fuel barge is slowing me down something rotten.

PS hit a fish farm at 90knts in the dark and ripped off one of my IPS drives - anyone know where to get a spare?

Well depends how britain was circumnavigated, there is a black worm hole just north of cornwall called Wales and if it entered the welsh triangle it would re-emerge in the anus of the western hemispere known as Ardrossan after having circumnavigated Ursula Major as well, signs of this galactic adventure are a faint whiff of Soltron and a reek of sulphur dioxide from the holding tank and a small burgee with a wee moose on it.

Oh, that explains the minor tsunami on our local beach the other day then - you going by.

You are a wanted man, 5 people walking dogs got their socks wet, a chihuahau got swept off its feet and nearly lost, and one child's sandcastle got demolished - and that was just here.

Don't knock it Ardrossan has a train station as well, may have circumnavigated partly by rail as well /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
