Aries windvane

A friend of mine has just inherited an Aries windvane in the corner of a garage. It looks to be all there except perhaps the control cords. Does the forum think there would be a market for it secondhand and what sort of price do think should be asked?

Always a healthy market for self steering gear. If it's complete and in good nick, you could be looking at a grand or more, less if its a rebuild project. Parts are still available for the older and newer types.
