Argolic gulf

I have been aware of the Med Sailing (18-35) for some time, however sailers need to be aware of a similar group called "The yachting week" , they consist of up to 20 large yachts including many cats. They turned up in Ermioni at lunch time on Monday and almost filled the South Quay, The partying started at 4.30. The group left just after 8.00 this morning heading for Plaka (Leonidin), where almost certainly they will fill the whole harbour. I have been told that this will be a regular flotilla over the next 8 weeks. If you see them please post the harbour and day they arrived so most of us can avoid them in future.

Ermioni is a 'day party' so I can imagine it was a nightmare.

The other places they visit are Poros, Dhokos, Plaka, Hydra and Spetses. I'll see if I can find out the route for you. They don't venture further up into the Argolic at all so you'll be safe there.

They are only in this area for another five weeks, thank goodness. Gone in September.
