Are all Epoxies the same

All, I have available for use 4/5 5.8 ltr tins of epoxy and hardner (spare afetr a job at work) I have been using Wests on the boat and this stuff looks very similar in its cured state. As its a freebee l was wondering if l could use it to coat the bottom. Its called Conbextra EPR made by Fosroc Ltd. I did have a word with they're techy people and they said well we've never heard of it being put to use coating the bottom of a boat but see no reason why it should not be used. Any comments as to its suitability? Its been used at work to build up a bed for an 8 cylinder turbo diesel engine and pump (lister blackstone)

Try a test first. Some epoxies won't cover very well while others are fine.
