Anyone made their own stern arch?

Dont know how to upload photos but i built mine using bits off ebay. Search both tube and pipe for the best price on tube. Search bimini fittings and you will find lots of different fittings you can use. You can join pipes together using u bolts instead of bending pipes to shape.

My wind generator is supported by an aluminium post. Any reason the stern arch can't also be aluminium if it's only used to support panels?

That's how I did it. 4" tube welded up for me and powder coated. Gives something to hang onto in a shallow cockpit. Just brought it home to re-engineer it after three years experience. Not expensive to put together.
