Anyone know what this is ??

Lol, Unfortunately its that thing far off in the distance, only had my phone to capture it.

Were you a bit further west than Brighton? There is a weather station south of Littlehampton. Looks a bit like that from memory, have tried to find a pic online but can't find one.

... never mind what that is ... we want to see pictures of the Bertram!! :D :D

... also interested in some details on the engines ... such as marinising kit, injectors and Turbo series... as it will serve as a good comparison to mine and what we are running with ...

Think you may find she is a Bertram 42 with 6/71 TIA's ... perhaps with JT Towers marinising kit... :D

Crikey Alf, how did I miss that thread....and only a few days ago

I do a bit of boating with a mate out here with a Bertie 42, with 6V92's running at 475 hp, a sensational heavy weather boat with a massive beam.
It seems the perfect length boat to run nicely between the wave heights and swell length where we boat, especially in adverse conditions, which is often.

They have been rated very highly by the game fishing fraternity for decades, and in the early 1990's, a number of 42's had cockpit/stern extensions of 3 feet, to allow more space for game-chairs for the hard-core fishers.
Although being massively wide, the cockpit sole was a little short for G-chairs because of the step up to the cabin and over the engine-room level.

Good choice Syd.
