Can anyone tell me the make of this fixed light ( portlight), we thought it might be a Lewmar as all the aluminium framed ones on the boat are, but can find a matching Lewmar one. It's a plastic frame and is fitted on a 1997 Beneteau Oceanis 43.

As far as I am aware all the Lewmar hatches and port lights have a serial number etched (faintly) into the the Perspex, this also identifies the hatch type. It can be difficult do find and read particularly on an older unit but if you can find a number, Lewmar should be able to confirm if it is one of theirs.

I believe Lewmar only started doing that at the end of 97, so the OP's boat may not have the feature.

I reckon it's likely to be Lewmar. Have a look at this Lewmar guide to the different types - https://www.lewmar.com/node/14691

Hi I have an Oceanis 321, 1996 and can say the portlights, (the ones that open and close) are Lewmar, mine are size 1, the deck hatches are size 30’s and were the original ‘coastal’ hatches I have just replaced one for a low profile version, not cheap but fits like a glove!

The fixed windows themselves such as the one in your picture appear to be, to me at least, Beneteau‘s own windows which were fitted when the boat was laid down. I am looking for a replacement as the one in my forward berth has sprung a leak ? so am looking for ideas on replacements myself.
not sure if that’s helped any?

We found a small company here in Sicily that made two for us after we took one out and gave it to them as a pattern, cost €80 for the two. They are just stuck on with Sikaflex 295uv.
