Notification on YouTube Sailing Channels Facebook group of a stolen 58' Fontaine Pajot catamaran, previously named 'Tifosi', now named 'Drip'. Story in the link does not indicate if the name change was made by the true owners or if it is a disguise. Pictures show that it was legitimately renamed. Poster shown in the link says that AIS was disabled, but a quick search of Marine Traffic turns up a Canadian vessel by the name 'Tifosi' on Isla Mujeres, Cancun on 15th of this month. Is there a possibility that there is someone who might read this who is in the area who could confirm/deny that this is the vessel in question?

Love it - the way to avoid suspicion and to get away without paying is to have a kid and dogs on board. :D

She pulled into Hawk’s Nest Marina on Sept. 26 and left early in the morning two days later without paying for dockage or $2,650 worth of diesel fuel.

“This is how they got me to believe they were legit. When he came in here, he was a very, very nice guy. That’s how he portrayed himself. He was very polite: ‘thank you, sir,’ ‘no, sir,’ ‘please,’ and all that stuff,” Antoine Hoyt of Hawk’s Nest said.

His polite demeanor and the composition of the crew preempted any suspicions that Hoyt might have had otherwise. “There was an infant child, okay, and a dog. I never thought an infant child and a dog would be on a stolen vessel,” he said. (Other reports said there were two dogs.)
