Looking for current info on sea conditions and port operating procedure re. swell heights

I managed to get a message back from the marina on WhatsApp, to the effect that entry would not be possible on Saturday as the port would be closed due to swell. All the swell forecasts I have managed to get were for 1.7m at midday, well under the 2m limit that most people have reported as being in operation.
They suggested that entry might be possible on Monday as conditions ameliorate, but the swell forecast for Monday is also 1.7m
I have asked them what swell prediction tool they use, but am not confident that they will get back to me. I think we will have to wait for later in the month with a definite lower swell forecast under 1.5m for a period of more than 24 hours and hope that wind conditions are favourable for a crossing.
