Anyone here in La Spezia?

Last time we moored in Mirabello we found poweryachtblog wondering along the quay but other than that I dont believe that any forumites moor there permanently. I thought the town was a bit of a dump to be honest. There are the Cinque Terre villages which are worth visiting and Portovenere nearby which is definitely worth a mooch

I'm not there, my interest is trying to find out if an old gentlemans yacht survives and she was last heard of in La Spezia.
BB, if by chance it's the Williamsburg that you have in mind, sadly she's neither in La Spezia nor anywhere else to be found anymore.
She was in fact scrapped, as I mentioned in this previous post.

I found a little more info. Bottom half of this link suggests she might be in a Yard called MA DUE in Viarregio.

I looked on google and found Codecasa Due, I'm not sure if that is the right yard, I looked on street map but found nothing.

My interest in Rinansay aka Maluti is that (apart from being a drop dead gorgeous GL Watson pocket ship) she was at one time owned by Bruce Campbell, he was one of the men responsible for the pretty 1950's aluminium Albatross speed boats and later was salesman at Fairey, hence my interest, and went on to build his own Bruce Campbell Christinas using the Fairey hot moulded manufactured Ray Hunt hull one of which, Thunderbolt, won the first Cowes - Torquay race.

Champagne taste and lemonade pockets - that's me.
