Hi all, need to help my SIL to replace the rudder bearings on a 1980 Wauquiez built Gladiator (she has kept the boat on for her young family since my brothers died a while agin now)
Anyone done this before for a Gladiator, any hints or tips? Boat is tiller steered, the rudder has a full length skeg, I understand that in principle we need to remove the lower bearing housing to allow the rudder to be lowered. But any other issues to look out for?
Where can we get new bearings?
