I don't want to spend any more than I have to (ask SWMBO about short arms and deep pockets) but I do find it hard to justify NOT paying tax on fuel for the boat when I have to pay it for the car etc.
Also that weekend I think I will finally be getting my family afloat so do not want anything to risk that happening. Epic voyage from Brightlingsea to Bradwell and dinner in pub. What can go wrong??? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don't get me wrong, I object to the high duty of fuel for everyone, not just boats although red is the issue at the moment. If I must pay full duty however, then spend the money on the water, not the roads, & stop selling off lock keepers houses, cutting back on the broads etc etc /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I'm fed up with bailing out this incompetent government.
