Has anyone had any success with spider sprays either bought or home concocted? (PLEASE do not mention conkers) There seem to be an awful lot more this year in the sail cover, sprayhood and just about everywhere else.
Bay leaves were recommended on another thread the other day. I suppose you could arrange them in a spray.
Yes there is one that works. It used to be called Amiral, but now goes under the name of spidergone, in a blue and yellow can. Hard to get over here any more but a guy on ebay does sell it. It's not cheap though at around £12 a can.
Thanks for the info. With p&p it is nearer £15 a can - it must be good!

For inside the cabin though I use the sonic repellers. I have a few battery ones and a couple of mains powered ones strategically placed that I got from Nauticalia:

(Compellingly claims sonic repellers do not work, so don't tell the spiders....)
