Hi,
Just wondering if we have any cyclists on the Motor Boat Forum? Okay before I get flamed, I’m talking about Folks who go off on a road bike for long spins ... MAMIL’s or Middle Aged Men in Lycra.
I was wondering if anyone is into a bit of cycling and how do you carry your bike onboard? I brought bikes on holidays last summer but we were inland and on freshwater. I locked the bikes to the bow rail and covered them with a basic bike cover held in place with a few bungee cords. It worked fine but was only for hybrid bikes to cycle to get shopping.
This summer I hope to head out to sea for a 2-3 week trip and I would like to bring my good carbon road bike. I’m thinking of buying a soft bike bag where I would need to remove the wheels and turn the handlebars and drop the seat post. I could store the bike bag down below in the separate shower.
Has anyone done this? Is it a pain or okay?
What bag did you buy and where did you store it?
