And we’ve ordered all the Victron stuff from the main Victron dealers for the Caribbean, which happens also to be in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
That will be a huge improvement. It looks as though we’re buying two 12V 300Ah Essential Series - Bluetooth & Heated LiFePO4. Picking them up in Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks time. The additional bonus is that they fit perfectly in the battery box that we already have.
Just got to find a way to keep the fridge running and the lights on etc while I’m rewiring while living onboard. That's massive capacity. Hope the project goes smoothly. Look forward to catching up with you in a few weeks.

We're in St Martin just now but hoping to get away as soon as possible.Catching up? Are you heading this way?
Excellent, The BVI’s are glorious. Despite being told it’s full of mooring balls we’ve nearly always found room to anchor wherever we’ve gone. Nearest port of entry from Sint Maarten is Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda. Anchor just outside the channel into the port. Or inside the reef. It can be a bit rolly but we dinghied down to The Baths from there for a swim. See you soon hopefully. We're in St Martin just now but hoping to get away as soon as possible.
We spent a month in the BVI last year and absolutely loved it. Despite being warned that it was expensive and crowded, we probably spent less money there than anywhere else in the Caribbean, because we had stocked up in St Martin. We don't really eat or drink out that much anyway, we prefer to meet up with friends on each others' boats or on the beach.Excellent, The BVI’s are glorious.
