I need to cover my plywood cockpit locker tops and I'm thinking of using treadmaster, does anyone know of any alternatives? I don't need to do a huge area (each one is about 900 x 450) the existing surface has slightly delaminated so I want something to cover it.

I replaced a section of my 30 year old Treadmaster with this and it looked great for 2 years. It is, however starting to show signs of wear and I doubt it will last as long as the real stuff.
As long as it's not in a high traffic area it should be fine.

Not for your job but for general interest, I have just used 3M 'Safety Walk' self adhesive non-slip tape on my companionway steps and am VERY pleased. Easy to use and work, nice finish. Much nicer than little bits of Treadmaster on odd spots.

I have used Technix decking on my RIB in the past and had to rip it all off within 6 months because the colour ran terribly! This is an awful imitation to real Treadmaster, if you only have a small area to cover Treadmaster do a small self adhesive step pads or sell smaller sized sheets to glue down...for the fear of sounding like a Treadmaster know-it-all they have a new website with loads of special offers on - www.treadmaster.co.uk
