Does anyone have any experience of a reliably effective antifouling that I can use on the Med?

Rather than killing marine growth, the International antifouling that I have on the bottom at the moment seems to be a sort of barnacle-magnet - they love it!

Where abouts are you in the Med? In Spain we use what the locals use, which isn't International and costs about half as much and we've never had such a clean bottom!

I spend several years in croatia. I used the normal VC17 Offshore when I arrived within a half year I had about an inch of fouling on the bottom. I ask International which kind of antifouling I should use and they said that the selfpolishing might work. I asked the same question at Hample say told me to buy the local Hample antifouling. They have a factory in Slowenia and use different substances most of them are most likey forbidden in our waters. I used the stuff and the boat was for 3 years in the water with almost no fouling on it. Never had such good antifouling.
But Hampel also told me I should forget the stuff which is available in Germany, since its made for North and Baltic see with different water temperatus
