Do i get the growth of , sand it and paint it ...anything else???
What grade of sandpaper? should i use an orbital or will i be able to
do it by hand,, any thing i should know about applying the antifoul...

Wash it off with as big a power washer as you can get your hands on. That should clean everything off.

You should not need any sanding. Most folk use a roller. Get some masking tape for round the edges.

Dont paint props. Is a sail drive a bit like an outdrive? Paint it with special stuff. Dont paint the depth and speed thingies. Anodes are lumps of zinc (Aluminium coloured) They stop your engine and props being eaten away by Electrolysis
. Do not neglect these they need changing at least once a year maybe more.
