Impressive, no engine, no reef points, no light airs sails! Perhaps the latter two will come later. I liked seeing the long sculling oar, yet more work.

I had an engineless 28 footer,a sculling oar was most effective in harbour maneuvers and a good supply of kedging anchours and rope on a reel

Yes, I made a sculling oar for my 32 ft catamaran. mainly to get through the wind shadow thrown by a berthed ferry on the narrow approach to the marina. Otherwise, I could often sail in and out without the iron topsail.
