My firstist guess was Filey Brig but I've only been there once (got lost on the beach) and couldn't remember the place.
The photos on Google Maps don't look owt like it, far too slopey.
Flamborough Head looks nowt like it either.
We always went to Scarborough.

Surely some mistake!

The two pictures are so different that it can't be the same place; can it?
The first shows a beautiful, (almost) deserted beach.
The second shows a %*rX**H**JD*F&*K;%&*....!!!!!
What happened? Did it get bombed?

Or is that the skill of the professional photographer? Make something frankly horrible look exquisite by planting a model in the foreground!

Don't quite know about that. They were taken in the early '80s by my father. The lump of concrete my mother is sat on in the first pic can be seen halfway along the beach in the second pic.
I'm not sure there are any cobles there now.
